Quicklook preview error with the latest release 2.22

Hello,
I use an iMac 21'' 2017 4k with macOS Ventura 13.7.8 so I've installed QLVideo latest 2.22 version, updated all, check/uncheck the setting thumbnail options, restart the mac, but still there is a problem when I try to view using quicklook in the finder on .mkv, .avi and other uncommon formats for MacOS.
It appears an error: "An error occurred with the com.apple.uk.org.marginal.qlvideo.previewer extension while previewing the document."

Is there a way to solve this? .mp4 files are working great and so all the rest of QLVideo infos.

Actually I've noticed another strange behavior under the infos, regarding the video preview: this seems so much smaller than in the past versions:

i have the same problem with 2.22 and 3.01- I use an iMac 27'' 2019 with MacOs Sonoma
