In hammer, there's a recent file list that allows you to quickly load to a different map while working on a different one. However, this list is limited to four maps, which is incredibly short in a world where instances and reference maps are prevalent. This list could benefit from having more than four recent files; Hammer++ has 16 in its list for example. To prevent bloating of the File dropdown, Hammer++'s recent files dropdown list could also be implemented in place of the current system.
