Describe the question

I want to avoid "Continue to rename? y/N" after closing the editor, thought --force flag from the docs was meant to do that:

But the prompt still shows up, did I misunderstand or is this a bug?

That's expected behavior - from the documentation:

--force: Overwrite the destination file directly if it exists, without showing the confirmation dialog.

which means it is used to suppress the overwrite warning, but "Continue to rename? y/N" is not asking whether to overwrite files, it is asking whether to proceed with the bulk operation.

For security reasons bulk rename never overwrites files - if an operation fails due to filename conflicts, the failures will be listed for the user to handle manually, so --force is not applicable for bulk rename.

@AndBoyS, alternatively, you may want to consider using edir which works well with yazi. If you end up with conflicts then edir creates unique file names.
