Notes from me:

  • Added Windows 11 and Windows Server 2025 to the list of supported OS's. After all, winget support was a frequent marketing point in Server 2025's marketing.
  • From what I've been able to tell through web searches, pretty much no one ever got it to work in Windows Server 2022.
  • Sorted the installation method list so that all Regular channel releases of Winget were above the Development channel ones. Currently they had been listed as "Regular (MS Store) → Development → Regular (GitHub)".
  • Added the way (as far as I can tell) to install the Regular channel from scratch with PowerShellGet.
  • Somewhat clarified the MS Store app eligibilities.
